Let's move the dial
Let's hold reset
Let's talk about the time
I thought you had tourettes

Let's dine in style
Let's not go out
Let's just make sure that we just never go without

It steps in time
And drags its heels
It panders to the weakest thing
A fossil fuel
In case you find
In case you find
A richer seam

It's a mechanism you've come to rely on
It's a skeleton
It's a skeleton

General Commentsaw this Breton interview and they said the video was inspired by a local criminal they knew (youtu.be/…). pretty sure the song is about falling victim to routines that compartmentalize our lives and lead to false/misguided impressions. Breton likely used the story of the local criminal in their video because it's easier to show contrast between segments of his daily routine...one being a caring father and the other being a ruthless criminal.
