LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIB
I'LL FLIRT AND CONQUER THEN WITHDRAW
LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIB
THEN MAYBE MIGHT COME BACK FOR MORE
IN LOVE WITH LOVE WITH ALL OF MY HEART
THE ACT OF LOVE IS MORE OF AN ART
IRRATIONAL PASSION SOME WILL SAY
BUT UNH UNH I'M NO GLUTTON MORE A SEX GOURMET

LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIB
I SEE MYSELF IN OTHERS EYES
LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIB
I WORK TO PLEASE AND COMPROMISE
I'VE BEEN KNOWN TO DISAGREE
BUT NEVER DISAGREEABLY
THE CHARM OF MY SMILE WILL MELT YOUR ICE
THERE'S ENOUGH GOOD IN ME TO GO AROUND TWICE

THERE IS BEAUTY HERE ON EARTH
I SEE HEAVEN IN MY MIND
LOVE AND PEACE IS EVERYWHERE
FOR YOU AND ME AND ALL MANKIND

LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIB
EXTREMES IN LIFE ARE ALL AROUND
BUT I PREFER THE MIDDLE GROUND
DON'T WANT THE RAGGEDY THE CHEAP AND THE SHODDY
I LIKE TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY BODY
WHEN DIET CALLS FOR A REMEDY
WHO WATCHES SCALES MORE SO THAN ME

LIB LIBBA LIBRA LIB LIBBA LIBRA...

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
