Well did you honestly think for a second we'd played our final song?
In spite of those who disagree, you know it feels damn good to prove you wrong

Singin' woahhh
We did it somehow
And woahhh
It's our turn now

We'll shut you down, you'll drown like the rest of them
Need I remind you that you're up against the best of them?

So let me promise you this with ignorance as your bliss
Your name won't ever be missed when we are though with this

I'll be the thought that's in the back of your head
We'll be the monsters hiding under your bed
I'll make you pay for all the things that you said
And use your own line to cut off your fucking head

I thought I told you once that you'd reap what you sow
But I guess this time around I'll say I told you so

Now that was clever
But let me make this clear
We are coming for you
We are coming for you

Tell me why they painted us with guilt
They said that we're not good enough
The only thing we're guilty of is never giving up

So take a second glance and put yourself into these shoes
We got a second chance and we've got nothing left to lose

So keep singing ohhh!
Whoaaaaaa. Ohhhh! Whoaaaaaaaaa
So keep singing!

So take a second glance and put yourself into these shoes
We got a second chance and we've got nothing left to lose!

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
