My comeback girl, woo!

This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback, this is my comeback girl (x2)

Stay in on the weekends
Watching what I'm eating
Dancing with my demons
That's how I'm dealing now

Drunk in the hallway
Pissing in the doorway
Finished with the foreplay
That's how I'm feeling now

This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback, this is my comeback girl

You know I've been untamed for far too long
I don't want you to worry about me no more, baby

This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback, this is my comeback girl (x2)

Packing all my emails
Thanking all my females
Smacking up the retail
That's how I'm dealing now

Sticking in the sofa
Drinking orange soda
Take it like a soldier
That's how I'm feeling now

This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback, this is my comeback girl

You know I've been alone for far too long, yeah
You shouldn't have to notice if I'm clean lately, Mary
I don't want to die inside the detail

Listen to me
And listen to me cha
Listen to me
Listen to me
Listen to me

Can't you feel me coming?
Can't you feel me coming?
Can't you feel me coming? Coming? Coming?
Woo-oo!

This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback girl
This is my comeback, this is my comeback girl (x4)

General CommentI think this song is about drug addiction.

Apart from some obvious connotations such as "if I'm clean", and telling someone that they don't want them to be worried about him anymore, there are less specific hints such as "dancing with my demons".

The four different verses seem to juxtapose how the narrator is dealing with life - with positive statements, and outside actions, to how the narrator is actually feeling - with a mix of chaotic, negative or inactive statements.

Considering the mention of "drunk in the doorway/ pissing in the hallway" - the drug in question could be alcohol that the narrator is struggling with. It would seem as though the "comeback girl" mentioned in the lyrics could be alcohol itself, as the narrator states that they have been "lonely for far too long", and it fits with the juxtaposing positive/negative verses, which can be compared to non-binge/binge episodes. (i.e. the narrator is lonely and dealing with alcoholism, when ti gets too much, he knows he can always go back to the drink - his 'comeback girl').
