You used to do the ding dong ditch,
And now you're living as a male witch,
I can't stop my morning blaze,
You can't stop the humid, humid oppressive days,

And then your body starts shaking,
The sleeper will awaken,
To a world that was never in his eyes,
Or others make him,
The time bomb will explode in a day,
Still the people drive from miles around,
To sing hip-hip-hooray,

It's optical day,
Let's start making "K" the letter after "J"
It's optical day,
Let's start making "K" the letter after "J"

The Tropicana used to be the Shanghai,
I settle all my scores with jai alai,
Behold into the slippery ways,
And behold into the nuvo communist craze,
They don't see the lights are dimmin',
And they don't clean the pools we swim in,
And they sure don't know the warm blooded ways of lizard women,
They are stammerin' cause they don't know what to say,
If you stop and think about it too much it just blows you away,

That's optical day,
Let's start ridiculing people for how much they weigh,
Ooooh ooooh,
Ooooh ooooh,

And though these are fascist times,
I won't be a party to your party of vicious crimes,
I'm living to live good times,
And raise the roof when my signature rhymes,

General Comment"Track 7 on Moving Through Security is "Optical Day", a summery pop anthem that makes you feel alive like the first time you stepped into the Church of Scientology. Never before has Tyler written lyrics this vague and meaningless. Yet it adds up to 5 minutes of pop pleasure. This song, like a few others on the record, feature the backing vocals of Lucia Alper of Fall On Your Sword....she's all over this album and we even offered her a rat mask. She declined. Smart woman. Takes about 24 hours to get that latex stink off of you."
