You good to go?

All I knew
This morning when I woke
Is I know something now
Know something now I didn't before
And all I've seen
Since eighteen hours ago
Is green eyes and freckles and your smile
In the back of my mind making me feel like

I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you, know you, know you

'Cause all I know is we said, "Hello"
And your eyes look like comin' home
All I know is a simple name
And everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed

And all my walls
Stood tall painted blue
But I'll take 'em down, take 'em down
And open up the door for you
And all I feel
In my stomach is butterflies
The beautiful kind, makin' up for lost time
Takin' flight, makin' me feel like

I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you, know you, know you

'Cause all I know is we said, "Hello"
And your eyes look like comin' home
All I know is a simple name
Everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
And you'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed

Come back and tell me why
I'm feelin' like I've missed you all this time
And meet me there tonight
And let me know that it's not all in my mind

I just wanna know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just wanna know you, know you, know you

All I know is we said, "Hello"
Your eyes look like comin' home
All I know is a simple name
And everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed

All I know is we said, "Hello"
So dust off your highest hopes
All I know is pouring rain
And everything has changed
All I know is a new found grace
All my days, I'll know your face
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed

    My Interpretation

All I knew this morning when I woke Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before

you start to realize that you are developing feelings for this guy you know or just met recently. you know, the feeling when you just woke up and the first thing that comes to your mind was that person's face and think to yourself "yeah, he's nice." then find yourself smiling alone? yeah, that. :)

And all I've seen since 18 hours ago is green eyes and freckles and your smile in the back of my mind making me feel right

at first, he was just some random guy, maybe just an acquaintance. but you're really fond of him even from the beginning. you can say because you have been looking into the "details" of his personality and appreciating his qualities. but you brush it away, putting the thoughts "in the back of your mind". but still you feel connected to him and you "feel right".

I just want to know you better know you better know you better now I just want to know you better know you better know you better now I just want to know you better know you better know you better now I just want to know you know you know you

all those and you just want to know him more. the fact that these lines are being repeated somehow points out that you want so much to be close to him.

Cause all I know is we said hello All I know is a simple name... All I know is you held the door

you are not best friends nor are you "close" friends, just acting civil towards each other

And your eyes look like coming home

    but you feel the connection.

You'll be mine and i'll be yours

and you start to think about spending more time with him in the future. maybe to the point of being in love.

All I know since yesterday is everything has changed

and you weren't thinking about this before but now you do.

And all my walls stood tall painted blue

the word "blue" is synonymous to sadness. you've been hurt before that made you afraid to try to love again. so you've been keeping away from people.

But i'll take them down, take them down and open up the door for you

but you feel that you are willing to try again with him. you feel like the walls that you have put up around you is useless and you will welcome him to your life

And all I feel in my stomach is butterflies the beautiful kind

though you feel nervous about taking a chance on love, you feel somewhat excited.

Making up for lost time, taking flight, making me feel right

much like the way you were before. and you remember how good it felt.

Come back and tell me why I'm feeling like i've missed you all this time

you were thinking "why did i not meet you long before i had my heart broken?" thinking that if you met him long before, you would have saved both of you the pain.

And meet me there tonight And let me know that it's not all in my mind

all you want now is to know if the feeling is mutual.

All I know is we said hello, So dust off your highest hopes

you don't want to rush things so fast.

All I know is pouring rain, And everything has changed

you used to look at the rain as a sad thing, now she's starting to appreciate it

All I know is a newfound grace, All my days, i'll know your face

you believe that what you have now is a blessing and you know that you are going to remember how you felt today for the rest of your life.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
