"Changing Seasons" as written by and Alex Brown Church....
I watched you sleeping and I could not believe it
You and I beneath shadows on the ceiling
You seemed so different so much younger than before
I was still the impostor with my suitcase on the floor

Sometimes I feel it coming back
I feel that darkness at my back
That's why I'm always rearranging
And looking forward to the seasons changing

Outside the windows and canyons of buildings
Some storm came down washed away the sirens
Even when the room filled up again the sun beams
Still saw the curtains and love that seems

Sometimes I feel it coming back
I feel that darkness at my back
That's why I'm always rearranging
And looking forward to the seasons changing

And I'm still looking forward
Oh I'm still looking forward

I put on the brave face
Left some words on paper lace
Hoping that I would some day come to be
The man you always saw in me

Sometimes I feel it coming back
I feel that darkness at my back
That's why I'm always rearranging
And looking forward to the season's changing
To the seasons changing
To the seasons changing
To the seasons changing
To the seasons changing

And I'm still looking forward, yeah I'm still looking forward

My InterpretationI can really relate to this song through my own interpretation.

From my perspective and opinion, the narrator has his problems/insecurities and they show up sometimes.

"Sometimes I feel it coming back
I feel that darkness at my back"

He's afraid of them and he hides them from his partner. He feels fake and like an impostor

"I was still the impostor with my suitcase on the floor"

Thus, he's trying to change and is looking towards the future for a change and so he can be a better person and the person his partner saw in him.

    "That's why I'm always rearranging
And looking forward to the seasons changing"
"Hoping that I would some day come to be
The man you always saw in me"
