"I'm a Safe Inside" as written by and Aaron Leo Espinoza Ariana Chloe Murray....
it's just a cold mist out on the line
but it's something that I'm used to
broke bones, blue all the time
yeah, it's something that I'm used to
used to
now the gasoline's fueling the flames
but it's something I refuse to
to give you up, I'm never the same
but it's something I'll get used to
let's start at the end
the words beginning to bend
come speak in the cold
cops follow me on the lines
mumble "son, please get me home now
get me back home to my wife
yeah, I promised you I'd be careful"
but promises are fine for a while
'til they're something that I'm used to
'til they're something that I'm used to
let's start at the end
the words beginning to bend
come speak in the cold
and they said
you feel all right?
did your heart survive?
do you need some time
to yourself?
no, not that much
yeah, I lost my touch
I'm a safe inside
I'm safe inside
but it's something that I'm used to
broke bones, blue all the time
yeah, it's something that I'm used to
used to
now the gasoline's fueling the flames
but it's something I refuse to
to give you up, I'm never the same
but it's something I'll get used to
let's start at the end
the words beginning to bend
come speak in the cold
cops follow me on the lines
mumble "son, please get me home now
get me back home to my wife
yeah, I promised you I'd be careful"
but promises are fine for a while
'til they're something that I'm used to
'til they're something that I'm used to
let's start at the end
the words beginning to bend
come speak in the cold
and they said
you feel all right?
did your heart survive?
do you need some time
to yourself?
no, not that much
yeah, I lost my touch
I'm a safe inside
I'm safe inside

It's just a cone missed out of line
But it’s something that I’m used to
Broke bones
Blue all the time
Yeah, it's something that I'm used to
Used to
Now the gasoline is fueling the flames
But it’s something I refuse to
To give you up, I'm never the same
But it's something I’ll get used to
Let’s start at the end
The words beginning to bend
Come speak in the cold
Cops follow me on the lines
Mumble, "Son, please get me home now
Get me back home to my wife"
Yeah I promised you I'd be careful
But promises are fine for a while
‘Til they're something that I'm used to
‘Til they're something that I'm used to
Let's start at the end
The words beginning to bend
Come speak in the cold
And they said
You feel alright?
Did your heart survive?
Do you need some time
To yourself?
No, not that much
Yeah, I lost my touch
I’m a safe inside
I’m safe inside
i'm still not sure about "come speak in the cold" (doesn't it sound like he's saying something else there, before it?), but i changed it anyway... because it made more sense than what i had.
i like the "promises are fine for a while 'til they're something that i'm used to" part... and it makes more sense to me now :)
