Dressed in the moonlight and paler than bone
She has got something that I've never known
I couldn't explain it I won't even try
She is so lovely she makes me feel high

Cause I'm with Heather
Yeah only Heather
Can make me feel this way

Misunderstood she's good I can tell
Though everyone tells me I'm under her spell
But I'll never leave her they don't know our deal
Its better to fake than to love her for real

Cause I'm with Heather
Yeah only Heather
Can make me feel this way

My InterpretationHeather is his impression of the girl of his dreams but still makes him feel awful. He knows that she doesn't love him back subconsciously but he can't let go of her no matter how bad she makes him feel. She may have done something very wrong, but we don't know what she did.

My InterpretationBased on the video that I watched, Heather seems like a girl that only exist in someone's dream. I imagine that the man in the video may have a schizophrenic disease. :)))

He's going nowhere, just to pursue his dream about Heather. But when he realized that Heather only exist in his dream, he's going to fell. :)))

Yeah, that's only my interpretation. I also look forward to make a short stories based on this song. :D

Lyric CorrectionA few corrections (from the vinyl lyrics):

"Dressed in the moonlight, and paler than bone."

"Cause I'm with Heather. Yeah, only Heather."

"I'd never leave her, they don't know our deal."

General CommentI think the song is about being with someone who is supposedly out of your league, like a teenqueen or something, and youre kinda blinded by being with her despite the obvious details.
