"The Long Way Home" as written by Sara Taylor, Michael Hanmer and Michael Rainbow....
Here in the dark
Don't fall asleep
We walk through the snow
Trying not to breathe
Don't let me go
Stay close to me
Don't look behind us
There's nothing to see below

Let me go
From here I know it's a long way home

Into the woods, under the trees
We follow the trail down to the sea
There's nowhere to hide
Don't wait for me
Don't look behind you
There's nothing to see below

Let me go
From here I know, it's a long way home

General CommentI think its just talking about the long dark times we have to go to in order to feel safe and 'at home'. The band is just very smart with imagery and made it sound like a long journey through the cold and the snow, in the dark, because that is how it feels when we feel alone and desperate.
