"Go To Hell" as written by and Matthew/reed Poulos....
And I heard you noticed every day while I've been here beside myself
How your bedroom smells just like me and how you found somebody else
There's a letter that I wrote you just on the back of your top shelf
In case you think the things I've told you, you will hear from someone else
It talks about the things I feel when it's just us inside the dark
About the things I like to think while you lay so close to my heart
And I can't seem to find the words I mean so I try to hold my tongue
While I lay wide awake and restless you should read it says,
Go to hell if you're reading this and I'm not here
Take your someone else and let me make this crystal clear
That take I don't need your help and I'm okay by myself
You can go to hell

And they say you tell him every day how you can feel the way I feel
How we're connected by the heart and you're convinced it's something real
Well if that's true I hope you're smiling like I am from ear to ear
And just in case you think I'm lying I've left a page to make it clear
That now I open up and scream to the whole world that I finally left
So if you hear me out of breath
I'm saying

Go to hell if you're reading this and I'm not here
Take your someone else and let me make this crystal clear
That, that I don't need your help and I'm okay by myself you can go to hell
And I feel it's time that I have said there are some things that I regret like never checking out the odds against this bet
'Cause I would bet my favorite things I ever owned that you would leave and I'd be missing you like hell
But I won't

Go to hell if you're reading this and I'm not here
Take take your somebody else and let me make this crystal clear
That that I don't need your help and I'm okay by myself
You can go to hell

Yeah you can yeah you can you can
Go to hell if you're reading this and I'm not here
Take your somebody else and let me make this crystal clear
That that I don't need your help and I'm okay by myself
You can go to hell
Oh you can go to hell

You make sure you take someone else
Ooh that you know you can you can go to hell

General CommentThis song is about being betrayed and left by your significant other.

I couldn't have found this song at a better time-
I found it right after my ex of four years who I was living with left me with no
explanation, and stopped communicating with me all together. Right after I quit my job she had been wanting me to quit for so bad, too.
I seriously felt such a sudden loss in my life, it was as if I experienced the death of my best friend and lover. I fell into a deep dark depression.
Needless to say, I moped my way out of it. I found a way better job and improved my life drastically.
A month ago I was having drinks with some friends and my new girlfriend at a local restaurant and ran into her waiting tables. I filled her in on my new job working in insurance, and introduced her to my girlfriend. You could tell it took her off guard. Her expression was priceless. Almost as if she had been hit by a train.
Then the next thing you know, this Napoleon Dynamite Pedro look-a-like (who was also waiting tables) comes up and introduces himself as her boyfriend.
She looked absolutely embarrassed. And when hugging me goodbye before we all departed, she whispered in my ear "I still love you". As I muttered a simple "Take care".

    Go to hell, Deborah. :)

My InterpretationSomeone on Youtube made a very good comment about the original version and the Piano/vocal only version. The original is definitely a heartfelt "Get lost" from a jilted lover, but the piano version has more of a wistful note to it, as if trying to deny that he's hurt about it and not quite convincing himself.

General CommentReally dumb song except for the title. The title alone gives it merit. Can't relate to this, for example "How your bedroom smells just like me And that you've found somebody else: but the GO TO HELL part I can relate to, so the song gets a thumbs up. And so will my fucking weekend.
