“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
I'm not quite sure about the interpretation of that one... mainly wondering about two things.
1) The sirens. Does he mean the Greek mythological sirens as a symbol for his past loves again (as he did several times on the Horrible Crowes record Elsie), or are they literal sirens this time?
2) Those last two lines. I can't even grammatically comprehend them, let alone interpret what they mean in the greater scheme of the song.

I think the sirens are the symbols for his past loves (I'm assuming you know what sirens are haha). As for the last two lines, he's reaching out from his heart to the listener's pain, or distress through his songs (which he wrote with his pen).

It's him writing these words with that pen, straight from his heart, where it comes and relates to us in our times of distress.<br /> <br /> That's what this song is, it's about songs we love, the experiences that lead artists to write them which lead people to have experience based from those songs.<br /> <br /> The sirens that never came? Police sirens, they didn't get caught.<br /> He experiences his times by the moon, and every word of the songs is handwritten.
The last two lines are basically saying, with this pen I create a bridge from my heart to your distress. The use of 'wed' is basically a metaphor for connecting, using a marriage metaphor (also implying a permanent or lasting connection).<br /> <br /> My favourite Gaslight song, it's simply amazing.
