"Taciturn" as written by Roy Mayorga, Josh Rand, James Donald Root and Corey Todd Taylor....
Across the sea to you,
I've left myself deserted here again
Across the sea to you,
My pieces are too broken now to mend

In the middle under a cold, black sky
The sun will only burn for you and I
In the moment before I lose my mind
These hours don't mean anything this time

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Across the world for you
My reasons have no reason to remain
I'd cross the world for you
I don't know what I'm doing wrong
But I can't stay the same

In the middle under a clear, blue sky
The sun can only burn for you and I
In the moment before I lose my mind
These hours don't mean anything this time

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything

Give me a sign
Show me the line
Maybe tonight

I'll tell you everything, everything

General CommentThis song is exactly me right now (in a certain sense) It's Love, In one of its purest forms! "I would cross the sea to see you" - "I'd cross the world to see you" Something I would do for my just made ex girlfriend. Family issues forced it to happen also me thinking only with my mind and not with my Heart! She asked for some space and I just kept on wanting just a little more of her. I can't forgive my self for this. This song showed me to go back to my Heart. She says for me not to wait but I have to deny. I shall sit and wait until the end of time. Because I Love Her! and nothing that anyone can say or anything that can happen can change that! I Love You! Evie! <3

Lyric CorrectionCross the sea to you -> Across the sea to you

My pieces are too broken now again -> My pieces are too broken now to mend

The sun can only burn for you tonight -> The sun can only burn for you and I

but I can stay insane -> But I can't stay the same

My InterpretationThis is a quote of Corey Taylor (lead singer) explaining the meaning of this song.

“It’s about trying to find the courage to open up to the people you care about, love and value, knowing that they’re going to be there to catch you when it all comes down,” Taylor said. “They’re going to be there for you when nobody else is. It’s about letting go of the anchors that hold you down in life, opening yourself up and saying, ‘If you’re there for me, I’ll be there for you. You’ve just got to give me a second.’”

No wonder I have such a deep connection to this song.
