Take back the toys that you gave to me
I never knew what to do with them anyway
I never knew how to break up the box
I'll stick to pebbles and boulders and blocks
Take back the toys that you threw my way
I never knew what to do my them anyway
I never knew how to break up the box
I guess the venom is served on the rocks

I been down on the beaten track
Just a holding on, holding out, holding back
Thinking not of what I got, but of what I lack
I guess that's what we've been taught all along
It's the drop of poison in the inch that I got for free
And I've been poppin the pills place in front of me
But I had enough baby, I'm breaking free
I never knew why it would take me so long

Take back the toys or I'll destroy 'em, do you heard what I say
Take back the toys that you gave to me
I never knew what to do my them anyway
I never knew how to break up the box
I'll stick to pebbles and boulders and blocks

Open my eyes to what I despise and in 14 seconds or more I tear it down

You see the give you toys just to distract
And the they break you mind, so the can break your back
Got you in so much debt you can't pay it back
And that's the way that it has been far too long

Take back the toys or I'll destroy 'em, do you heard what I say
Take back the toys that you gave to me
I never knew what to do my them anyway
I never knew how to break up the box
I'll stick to pebbles and boulders and blocks

Take back the toys that you threw my way
I never knew what to do my them anyway
I never knew how to break up the box
I guess the venom is served on the rocks

    General CommentTo Me, this song has a few meanings... --- of,

    You didn't get someting you wanted from someone, And were forced to play w/ a proverbial Toy instead, made w/ poor quality to boot;

    of medications, specifically psychotropic medications, and medications with adverse and ridiculous side effects, like projectile vomitting, explosive diarrhea and other totally undesired side effects;

    of gun laws and attitudes, since we don't get one from our gov't at Birth nor 18 unless you join the Service, and then look how they are treated, really what is abandoned when they return. Furthermore w/r/t attitudes how guns and war are portrayed in the media, or should I say hated, and how they are mismanaged by our gov't;

    and lastly, with the line "Open My eyes to what I despise and in 14 seconds or more I tear it down" feels like there is a reference to 3:14, every 3:14, and perhaps the bible in general. I've heard a lot of 3:14 references in music. There are some conflicts between 3:14s what can also be considered sh#t talking, so this song may be one version of one, not meant to be one, but subject to that criticism or ridicule, and criticizing and ridiculing, that kind of interpersonal criticism and ridicule itself. Also saying he always "tears it down" whether there is not much going on, or a huge event.

    My OpinionMy take on this is..... its about nowadays we seem to live in a culture where we have commercials and all sorts adds being force fed to us continually (PILLS) wanting us to buy things we really don't need or want and how as individuals we are not content with what we have in life and that we always in the end will want more and more material things (TOYS), This then most likely ends up with you being in debt and owing people money. Its about making a stand to this.... TAKE BACK YOUR TOYS
