"Punk Spirit" as written by Tim Bruzon, Carl Brown, James Walsh and Vidar Norheim....
I broke the neck of my guitar
And told you how it's going to be
And later when you left the room
I whispered you can fucking die
And every time your back was turned
I put a finger in the air
And every time you turned around
I hide it cause I know it hurts

Where's my punk spirit?
When I need it
Where's my punk spirit?
When I need it

The only thing I've got faith in
Is clinging onto the ground
Now every time the plant spins
I turn myself around
So rolling out my best white flags
I'll find new ways to take my pride
My body's in a body bag,
I'm still alive.

Where's my punk spirit?
When I need it
Where's my spirit?
When I need it

Ooooooooh!!

Where's my punk spirit
When I need it
Where's my punk spirit
When I need it

General CommentTrying to move on while still involuntarily attached to personally obsolete ideas of decency and niceness. Trapped in something you've come to hate, but unable to find a way out that doesn't make you feel like shit. If you just didn't care, about yourself, you reckon you could get free a lot sooner. Doesn't work that way of course. It's a slow beating, until you let go of all the periferal stuff first.
