You should've seen both faces from the start
Beholden to the hate within your heart
You cast the world aside
In hiding from your burden one more time

But could it be your efforts were in vain?
Could it be your life is full of shame?
You throw it all away
You let it fall to pieces here today

You waste your time!
You hide too much don't ever let me find, What you're thinking.
What's in your head?
You ask too much, don't ever let me be
Who are you?

We won't need to take it when you're gone
Won't embrace the lies very long
Well you're afraid to go
youre afraid to face it when you've lost

All the ties were severed when you came
What if I could ment them once again
Youre afraid to learn
Forced to watch those bridges as they burn

You waste your time!
You hide too much don't ever let me find, What you're thinking.
What's in your head?
You ask too much, don't ever let me be
Who are you?

You waste your time!
You hide too much don't ever let me find, What you're thinking.
What's in your head?
You ask too much, don't ever let me be
Who are you?

Yeah!
Woah, yeah!
Ahh..Who are you?!

General CommentHe's talking to someone who used to be true and pure, and now is tainted, and he's telling this person that he/she should change their ways. And he wants the other person back, as he says "who are you" at the end of the chorus

General CommentThis song has to be about Scott Stapp. Tremonti has often talked about hoe Stapp single handely tore Creed apart. I am glad he did. I liked Creed but I have enjoyed both ALter Bridge and this band much more. I have never fully understood why Creed seems to be the most despised rock band not named Nickelback but there was something about Creed that always rubbed me the wrong way and kept them from garning more than causl interst from me. When Alter Bridge emerged it all became clear, It was Creed's douchebag nutjob lead singer that was the problem.
