Green and blue flashes of insight…
No menacing words to decipher.
Can’t quite put a name with this face,
and for that I’m thankful.
Gaze amazed at how familiar
this world which stands before me.

I’ve been shown a secret…
I cannot speak a word of this.
Spinning to oblivion…
I cannot speak a word.
Rescue us.

Half spin sits before me…
Smile cracks through foundation.
Don’t you split those reeds,
Because I know what empties.
Put the past into perspective…
And catch a small glimpse of what’s next.

I’ve been shown a secret…
I cannot speak a word of this.
Spinning to oblivion…
I cannot speak a word.
Rescue us.

This touch, so abrupt and forceful… and beautiful.
Power ally. Teacher.
New dimensions awaiting…
Mind awakening, if only for a time…
Then return to this illusion.
See, I’ve been shown a secret…
I cannot speak a word of this.
Spinning to oblivion…
I cannot speak a word.

Rescue us.

General CommentOne of the best songs I've heard in a long time. Sounds like a revelation was revealed to him during a psychedelic trip. This is most evident to me during the part he is talking. "Power ally" is how indigenous peoples of Central and South America refer to entities that reveal themselves while under the effects of psychedelics. "Mind awakening" and "new dimensions" also support my theory. Also "spinning to oblivion" sounds alot like the initial feeling you get from both DMT or salvia. Just my 2 cents, but I would bet I'm closer to right than wrong.

General CommentI think this song is about a near death experience.
    "Put the past into perspective…
And catch a small glimpse of what’s next" sounds like the person is dying. And "Then return to this illusion" is the person coming back. Although Rukus84 has a good interpretation with the psychedelic thing. I have never done them so idk but I have been told that you do get a deja vu feeling "Gaze amazed at how familiar this world which stands before me".
