I heard them calling in the distance
So I packed my things and ran
Far away from all the trouble
I had caused with my two hands
Alone we traveled on with nothing but a shadow
We fled far away

Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran (deep into the mountain sound)
Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran

Some hid scars and some hid scratches
It made me wonder about their past
And as I looked around, I began to notice
That we were nothing like the rest

Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran (deep into the mountain sound)
Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran

Whoa
We sleep until the sun goes down
Whoa
We sleep until the sun goes down

Whoa
We sleep until the sun goes down

Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran (deep into the mountain sound)
Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran

Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran (deep into the mountain sound)
Hold your horses now (we sleep until the sun goes down)
Through the woods, we ran

La la la, whoa, la la la
We sleep until the sun goes down
La la la, whoa whoa, la la la
We sleep until the sun goes

    My Interpretation

there are many in the world who are feeling awake ~ almost like watchmen observing the world going through a massive change right now. weaving in some biblical messages ~

sleeping until the sun goes down ~ could very well be death. being dead until jesus' return as christians believe. being dead until the sun or the son comes down ~ maybe even the comet Ison ~ coming soon. knowing that "something is coming" as many feel ~ and trying to escape the troubles ~ only to eventually realize all of your "things" are nothing ~ its just you and your shadow. running from the trouble ~ your human troubles you hold and own in your hands ~ woods/forests, etc meaning the problems, confusion, troubles, that you dont see coming through the next trees ~ being lost in the woods that is life.

some having scars and scratches ~ all of us do really ~ and we have to own who we are, our actions ~ and realize at some point what many people do worry and care about ~ material things, money, power, worldly items ~ at some point you feel and discover your higher calling ~ a sense of comfort and happy that comes with releasing that burden.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
