had to catch the bus to go to the big Tescos in town
i was the only person on the bus, the roads were full of cars
but i couldn't see the drivers
the garage forecourts were deserted
it had snowed it was going to snow it was, snowing on the ground

the sky was clear and the ground was wet
and the bus pulled in and let me out
i tried to picture my home,
but i couldn't paint the picture ohhh

i felt as if i was the only person in the shop
i'm sure i heard some voices from the other aisles but when i went there
all the voices stopped,
and i forgot what i had gone there for
and it had snowed it was going to snow it was, snowing on the ground

but i never slipped or anything
the automaticic doors wouldn't open on their own,
so i laid down in the snow

walked around the shops some more i was the only one,
the cashiers had abandoned all their posts, i tried to scan my shopping
but i couldn't do it
i waited for an hour so
it had snowed it was going to snow it was, snowing on the ground
i remember thinking about my home,
i tried to put it out my mind but i only made it worse,
i added to the curse
