Sun above and bones below
A muddy mound where flowers go
Sing ye lost and endlessly
There's a hole in the sea
Where nothing but dead things breathe
Sing ye stark and breathlessly
Kiss each tree where it falls
The wind will break and bend us all
Sing ye long and trembling
This war and how we lost it
We blew it like the wind
Twilight's blues and and endless stars
I could not get free at all
I could not get free at all
I could not
We got free on broken knees
Fuck yeah indeed
The state itself did not agree
We got free
Fuck yeah indeed
On broken knees
The state itself did not agree
Kiss each tree where it falls
The wind will break and turn us all
Sing ye lost and endlessly
That's our bones in the dust
Shining like the sun

We were golden
We were golden
We were golden

General CommentThis is from the West Will Rise Again EP, the lyrics from the liner notes. The sung lyrics are slightly different. I can't wait for another full length from them :)
