Little miss laying in the sun
Got a lot on her mind and to get off her chest
Dreaming to live life out on the west
She don't care what it takes to get there

A little kiss now I'm on the run
I give chase till I straight up run out of breath
Pray to God that I'll pass the test
I don't care what it takes to get there

You can stay and I mean it
Every day and I mean it
There's a way that I'll be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there
[x2]

I'll be there, I'll be there
Backwards I'll be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there
Be there, be there, be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there

A little quick now I jumped the gun
Give it a rest cause she's not just looking for sex
She's a whole level ahead of the rest
I'll just stare if we happen to to get there

Need a fix can you give me some?
Wait a minute so you're not just losing the dress
You keep moving while I'm holding my breath
We don't care what it takes to get there

You can stay and I mean it
Every day and I mean it
There's a way that I'll be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there
[x2]

I'll be there, I'll be there
Backwards I'll be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there
Be there, be there, be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there

From now till forever,
I'll be there for you whenever
To shelter you from the weather
I'll hold you down, down, down
I'll hold you down when you're thinking there's nobody else
I'll be around where you're looking for somebody to help
I'll bend or break over backwards and upside down
Be there like MJ singing it out

You can stay and I mean it
Every day and I mean it
There's a way that I'll be there
Bend over backwards I'll be there
[x2]

Be there, be there, be there
I'll be there, I'll be there
Backwards, I'll be there
Bend over backwards, I'll be there
Be there, be there, be there
Bend over backwards, I'll be there

From now till forever,
I'll be there for you whenever
To shelter you from the weather
I'll hold you down

I'll be there!

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
