"Save Me (Wake Up Call)" as written by and Scott Douglas Victor/allen Russo....
Had a bad day, don't talk to me, gonna ride this out.
My little black heart breaks apart, with your big mouth.
I'm sick of my sickness. Don't touch me, you'll get this.
I'm useless, lazy, perverted, and you hate me

You can't save me, you can't change me.
Well I'm waiting for my wake-up call, and everything, everything's my fault.

Went to the doctor, and I asked her to make this stop.
Got medication, a new addiction, fuckin' thanks a lot!
Had to relapse, I'm outta rehab, ruins everything.
So point your finger, at the singer, he's in the pharmacy.

You can't save me, you can't change me.
Well I'm waiting for my wake up call, and everything's my fault.
You can't save me, you can't blame me.
Well I'm waiting here to take a fall,
And everything, and everything's my fault.

And I'm a death threat, haven't slept yet,
Baby why the wake up call?
I'm a bad boy, tell the tabloids, everything's my fault!

Whoa whoa yeah, write it write it!
Whoa whoa everything's my fault, everything's my fault.

I went to heaven, but couldn't get in, for what I have done.
I said 'Please take me!', he said 'You're crazy, you had too much fun.'

You can't save me, you can't change me.
Well I'm waiting for my wake up call, and everything's my fault.
You can't save me, you can't blame me.
Well I'm waiting here to take a fall,
And everything, and everything's my fault.

General CommentPersonally, I like the the video. Secondly, I agree the folks above that everybody can relate to the songdifferently, but show a little more compassion to god2005. If he/she has gone through what he/she says...then I think the person has a right to feel a little selfish to the song...because I don't know, but it seems to me the songs is about his drug addictions, and him needing to fix himself yadda yadda... That said, God2005 doesnt have a right to own it like he/she says. ONLY SCOTT RUSSO does! You guys tellin God2005 to shut up, makes you just as bad!

General Commentok i agree with cshl420, this song relates to none of you unless youre addicted to pills, he was clean but felt like shit went to the docter got prescription for pills, had a relapse, couldnt get clean, didnt want to get clean-waiting til he falls or o.d.s and then he dies. he didnt want anyone to "save him, or change him" doesnt want to be clean-judging from the havent slept yet its not oxys or anything its some sort of amphetamine and it kills him

General CommentWow, heard it on the way home from basketball practice and it describes my situation

Obviously this song is just another radio hit that most likely wont have a lasting effect.
However, this song touches me because I am a senior in highschool and it seems like im getting hassled for everything. The singer is saying that he wants to be saved but he doesnt want to change who he is. I want to be helped out in this point in my life too, but i do not want to be changed into somebody im not, so it seems like everythings my fault.
The verses of the song talk about specific events when he is failing and the chorus complements it nicely.
Im new to "Unwritten Law" but i will prolly pick up the CD.
