I'm so glad to be here
This day has become sacred
I'm trembling with thankfulness
For all of, of this

Who am I
Who am I
That you have brought me
This far, this far
Who am I that you have brought me so far

All those years of spoiled complaining
I said it's not enough
And you have forgiven me for everything
Everything
And you have given me everything, everything
Oh, it's too much, it's too much
You're too much, you're too much

Who am I
Who am I
That you have brought me
This far, this far
Who am I that you have brought me so far

Who am I
Who am I
That you have brought me
This far, this far
Who am I that you have brought me so far

In my opinion, this song is one of the most meaningful songs I've ever heard from flyleaf.

Shes looking back on everything God has done for her, and shes confused as to why He has done what He did.

She even says "Its too much. Youre too much. Who am I? Who am I that You have brought me this far?"

The entire song is Flyleafs way of showing thanks towards God, and I find it brilliant.

    My Interpretation

Who Am I is Lacey's thanks to God for all He has done for her, and also that she doesn't deserve it, but she has been blessed with it anyway.

"I'm so glad to be here This day has become sacred I'm trembling with thankfulness For all of, of this." = She's glad to be alive and living. She thankful for everything.

"Who am I Who am I That you have brought me This far, this far Who am I that you have brought me so far." = Lacey asking Him, "Who am I that you have blessed me with this life I am living? Why me?"

"All those years of spoiled complaining I said it's not enough And you have forgiven me for everything Everything And you have given me everything, everything Oh, it's too much, it's too much You're too much, you're too much." = She would complain everyday about her life never being the way she wanted it to be. But finally she realized that enough is enough, to stop complaining and be thankful for what you already have, and The Lord has forgiven her for all of her sins and even blessed her with this life she has and His love is too much!

I think its about lacey wondering why God saved her when she was on drugs, she feels shes not good enough to be saved. I think she is wonderful and deserves to be saved.

    My Interpretation

Lacey is saying to G-d in comparison to him she doesn't know who she is and why she deserves all He has blessed her with in her life, and she is so unbelievably thankful.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
