Hey, hey, hey

Now you done been around the world (yeah)
And seen alot of girls (yeah)
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like) (uh)
Now you done rolled through some hoods (yeah)
Saw some girls that look good (yeah)
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like) (uh-huh)
Now you done partied in some clubs (fly) (uh)
And some girls show you love (like me) (uh)
But you ain't never seen a girl look so fly like me (aha)
Baby (let's go)
But you never had a girl look so fly like me (check it out, ay, look, ay)

Now I done been around the world thought I'd seen it all
Every color, every shape, what I need and all
Switch like seasons, winter, summer, spring, and fall
In backseat of my Jeep on chrome feet and all
On the hunt for these girls was like my day to day
Get 'em alone, I jump 'em and then fade away
I give it good so some of 'em won't stay away
They try to lock me up, but I break away
And to the day I lay my eyes on the princess
And you can tell she was a dime from a distance (ooh, look at that girl right there)
It took a minute to come to my senses
She's the perfect match and God is my witness (let's go)
Now for the first time I've opened my eyes
Put my glass in the air, now I toastin' the sky
Feels like I'm in Heaven and I'm hopin' to fly
Baby girl, come along for the ride, you know why? 'Cause I

Now you done been around the world
And seen alot of girls
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done rolled through some hoods
Saw some girls that look good
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done partied in some clubs (fly)
And some girls show you love (like me)
But you ain't never seen a girl look so fly like me
Baby
But you never had a girl look so fly like me (yo, ay, yo, look, look)

Now I ain't neva had a girl that was so fly
Other guys come around, you actin' so shy
You got em shakin' in their boots and I know why
'Cause they can't handle the truth and that's no lie
As for me, I'm the one that you been dreamin' on
And when you saw me I'm the one that you were schemin' on
And when you need it I'm the shoulder that you'll be leanin' on
Take off that Gucci and keep them Vicky Secrets on
Let's take a flight 'cause the world is our playground
And buy houses from the Lou to the A-Town
It's silk sheets so it's soft when you lay down
Ching-a-ling yeah, I get down, and stay down
There's no one better, baby girl you's a blessin'
You got me headed in a positive direction
You got my vote when you re-up for election
'Cause all I wanna do is give you love and affection

Now you done been around the world
And seen alot of girls
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done rolled through some hoods
Saw some girls that look good
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done partied in some clubs (fly)
And some girls show you love (like me)
But you ain't never seen a girl look so fly like me
Baby (uh)
But you never had a girl look so fly like me (break it down for me)

Why you wastin' your time (say, what?)
Out there runnin' the streets (say, what?)
When you can just come to me? (Oh, is that right?)
You know I got what you need (say, what?)
I got what you want, boy (say, what?)
Won't you come and see? (Oh, I'm down for that)
Boy, I bet you never seen (yeah, yeah)
A girl like me ever (like me before)? (Yeah, yeah)
Won't you come inside? Let me keep it dry (uh, uh)
'Cause I'm so fly (oh, oh)

Now you done been around the world
And seen alot of girls
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done rolled through some hoods
Saw some girls that look good
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done partied in some clubs (fly)
And some girls show you love (like me)
But you ain't never seen a girl look so fly like me
Baby
But you never had a girl look so fly like me

Now you done been around the world
And seen alot of girls
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done rolled through some hoods
Saw some girls that look good
But, you ain't never seen a girl (look so fly like)
Now you done partied in some clubs (fly)
And some girls show you love (like me)
But you ain't never seen a girl look so fly like me
Baby
But you never had a girl look so fly like me

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
