Fire threw your ventricle your bodies unsettled
Gold medal, tell the press I am the first one threw
Dem niggas running the last lap I'm untying my shoe (what?)
Taking flicks with my fans like Britney on coke
Salmonella sick spitter, watching rappers get yoked (what?)
Kon' love it when I rap this way
It make it easier for anyone on Konvict to keep getting paid
We like Louis in comparison to Gucci from Canal (what?)
Like a dark skin Amex compared to PayPal
Aye gyal, turn around see the mandem in the back?
Eyes low wit the custom made Blue Jays hat?
That's my people
Makes these little punks get tight
We laugh hard 'cause we showing your flaws like black light

I curb your enthusiasm precisely (what?)
New York got me more then Spike Lee
'Cause I leave nicks on your face if you spite me
Talk I take it lightly, I'm the Crocodile Hunter
Walk through dangerous places, crikey (what?)
Who got more checks? Stripes or Nike?
Whoever it be, see me rocking that nightly (what?)
The launch pad man take off your night tee
I ain't Ike Turner, I keep on my wife beat-er
Kb got the nine milli-me
I'm a big man all these cats are mini mes
Scratch that, they mini thems even with forty percent of me
They can't drop these gems (what?)

One hand on the wheel, one eye on the law
Ten dreams for the deal, I don't need street cred
I'm street readily available
Favorable, put all your money on the table
Bet what you got and I bet your gon' flop
'Cause ain't nobody gon' listen to you outside of your block
I'm outside of your dot in the Benzel taxi (what?)
Fifteen stacks, or don't bother get at me (woo)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
