You pretty ladies around the world
Got a weird thing to show you
so tell all the boys and girls
Tell your brother, your sister, and your mama too
'cause we're about to go down
and you know just what to do
wave your hands in the air like you don't care
gilde by the people as they start to look and stare
Do your dance, do your dance, do your dance quick mama
come on baby tell me what's the word

Word up everybody says
when you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up it's the code word
No matter where you say it, you know that you'll be heard

Now all you sucker DJ's who think you're fly
there's got to be a reason and we know the reason why
why you put on those airs and you act real cool
but you got to realise that you're acting like fools
If there's music we can use it
we're free to dance
we don't have the for physichological romance
No romance, no romance, no romance for me mama
come on baby tell me what's the word

Word up everybody says
when you hear the call you've got to get it underway

Dial "L" for Love (x4)

W-O-are-D up (x4)

all you sucker DJ's who think you're fly
there's got to be a reason and we know the reason why
why you put on those airs and you act real cool
but you got to realise that you're acting like fools

No romance, no romance, no romance for me mama
come on baby tell me what's the word

Word up everybody says
when you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up it's the code word
No matter where you say it, you know that you'll be heard

Word up everybody says
when you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up it's the code word
No matter where you say it, you know that you'll be heard

    Memory

We played this version in our band, and sometimes, if it was at the end of the set, we went of the chain with the end-solo, much to dislike of our lead guitarist; after a set of more then an hour and 5 minutes soloing, he got tired of thinking op new things, and got cramps in his hands. Hey, it was hobby, not our day-job.

Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
