"Stop Looking Start Seeing" as written by and Tobin Esperance David Buckner....
Hit or miss, fuck a fight, it's time to live your life
Go ahead, I know I'm right, I'm gonna lay it on the line
Put yourself in my shoes, would you stand up for your rights?
Light 'em up, and knock 'em down, I'm not running scared tonight

I have climbed these walls before
And I'm not scared anymore
There's a time to lead and a time to follow
Because I won't take this anymore (These walls)
I've climbed these walls before (These walls)
There's a time to lead and a time to follow

I see the walls are closing in, and I feel I am in danger
My enemy is not alone, in the mirror there's a stranger
As I try to break out, my panic led to fear
Hopeless, I am alone, I'm afraid the end is near

The truth doesn't always have to hurt

I have climbed these walls before
And I'm not scared anymore
There's a time to lead and a time to follow
Because I won't take this anymore (These walls)
I've climbed these walls before (These walls)
There's a time to lead and a time to follow

Stop looking, stop seeing
Now, right now
Stop looking, stop seeing
Now, right now

The truth doesn't always have to hurt

I have climbed these walls before
And I'm not scared anymore
There's a time to lead and a time to follow
Because I won't take this anymore (These walls)
I've climbed these walls before (These walls)
There's a time to lead and a time to follow

I have climbed these walls before
There's a time to lead and a time to follow
I have climbed these walls before
There's a time to lead and a time to follow

And I'll never be the same
And I'll never be the same
Why does the truth always have to hurt?

General CommentOkay I so think this album was made for me! LOL... I'll stop the egocentric view. But right now I'm in a place where I'm rising and everything (the world) is literally tightening up all around me and not wanting me to go.

This song definitely appeals to my situation. That I've fought hard and climbed over the walls before so now that I'm ready to rise I can't let things get to me, and I have to jump them once again. Just one last time.

And now I'll never be the same.

General CommentI think mostly everyone can relate to this song.

"I have climbed these walls before
And I'm not scared anymore" - He knows how to get through things and he's not afraid how he'll get through it anymore.
"There's a time to lead and a time to follow" - Helping others when you know how to do something, and getting help when you need it.
"Hopeless, I am alone, I'm afraid the end is near" - Being to afraid to ask someone for help, and you feel hopeless inside.
"And I'll never be the same" - Knowing how to get through things will change how you do them forever.

General CommentThis is one of my fave tracks off the new CD. I agree with the above comments, hes been through stuff and hes wiser for it, maybe taking the meaning deeper, the song is talking about a relationship. The whole CD is based around relationships, and all the bad that can happen in them. Great song by a very under-rated band.

General CommentI have to agree with W-T-F on most accounts but I'm going to add my opinion on key lines in it.

'I see the walls are closing in, and I feel I am in danger
My enemy is not alone, in the mirror there's a stranger
As I try to break out, my panic led to fear
Hopeless, I am alone, I'm afraid the end is near'
    ---------------------------------------------------------
This means that it is getting too tough for him now and he is starting to not even recognize himslef when he sees his reflection because he was once someone that could accomplish it but now can't.

The 'panic lead to fear' part means that in his panic of not being able to accomplish this thing he is growing afraid. The last line is a key one because this means that he now feels afraid and alone and thinks that the proverbial end of his life has come.

    NEXT KEY PART

'The truth doesn't always have to hurt'

Pure and simple, This is saying that it doesn't hurt to accept the truth which is not nesserceraly painful.

General Commenti'm falling apart to this song right now. its a great song. just overcoming everything to get help and make things better, not letting fear take its hold anymore. its a very inspirational song, basically its seeing, not a first glance looking deeper than that and know your not a hopeless case and neither is anyone else.

General CommentThis song screams strength. In every situation no matter what it is, there are going to be obstables[walls] in our way. But that just means we need to find the strength within us to overcome them[climb the walls].

behing every one of their songs is a message and in every message there's a life lesson.

General CommentIn the 2nd stanza it says:

I have climbed these walls before
    And im not scared anymore
There's a time to lead and a time to follow
Because I won't take this anymore..

^^that one stanza has soo much meaning.
It talks about facing some of the same problems once again but this time not letting them ruin him this time. The song is right when it says theres a time to lead and a time to follow..and this time around its time to lead. Those walls are trying to stop him from getting past his problems but he's gotten through it before..which is why he says he's not scared anymore. He realizes its time for him to regain control of his life and not let the same shit ruin him anymore.

this song gives me so much strength when i hear it.
