"Cure My Tragedy (A Letter to God)" as written by Jr. Ward, Terry Balsamo, Kelly Hayes, Jeremy D. Marshall and Samuel Mc Candless....
Remember all the times that we used to play
You were lost and I would save you
I don't think those feeling will ever fade
You born a part of me

Won't you cure my tragedy
Won't you cure my tragedy
Don't take her smile away from me
She's broken and I'm far away

Won't you cure my tragedy
Won't you cure my tragedy
Then I hope that you can hear me scream
Won't you cure my tragedy

When I sit and think of the days we shared
And the nights you covered before me
Every little thing that I ever did
You would stand by me
Every time you would cry it would take my wind
My heart would break
If I could be strong like you were for me
You are my faith

Won't you cure my tragedy
Won't you cure my tragedy
Don't take her smile away from me
She's broken and I'm far away
If you made the world a stage for me
Then I hope that you could hear me scream
Can you hear me scream
Can you hear me scream

Won't you cure my tragedy
Won't you cure my tragedy
Don't take her smile away from me
She's broken and I'm far away
If you made the world a stage for me

I can't take this anymore
I can't take this anymore
Won't you take and give her pain to me
'Cause my whole life I've made mistakes

General Commentthis song is about the heartache of being separated by your child,
1.Remember all the times that we used to play (playing and having fun with his daughter)
You were lost and i would save you (daddy being her hero and coming to her rescue)
I don't think those feeling will ever fade
You born a part of me (you changed his life and made him a new man)

    2.

When i sit and think of the days we shared
and the nights you covered before me
Every little thing that i ever did
You would stand by me (referring to the unconditional love a daughter has for her daddy)
Everytime you would cry it would take my wind
My heart would break (a father's desire to make his daughter happy and and shelter her from sadness or pain)
If I could be strong like you were for me
You are my faith (the love for your child is the reason for living and why you believe in the possibility of happiness)Won't you cure my tragedy

Don't take her smile away from me
She's broken and I'm far away
conveys that she has been taken away from him and it was neither of their choice, and she If you made the world a stage for me
Then i hope that you could hear me scream-means that he hasn't had any influence in her being taken away and if they would give him a chance to say how he feels, it would be obvious how bad he is hurt

    can't take this anymore
    I can't take this anymore
Won't you take and give her pain to me
'Cause my whole life I've made mistakes-he feels like his daughter is innocent and pure and doesn't deserve to feel this pain so give it to him to endure for her bc he has made mistakes in life and unlike her, isn't perfect
