Now, baby, come on
Don't claim that love you never let me feel
I shoulda known
'Cause you brought nothin' real
Come on be a man about it, you won't die
I ain't got no more tears to cry and I can't take this no more
You now I gotta let it go
And you know

I'm outta love, set me free
And let me out this misery
Just show me the way to get my life again
'Cause you can't handle me
Said, I'm outta love, can't you see
Baby, that you've gotta set me free?
I'm outta love, yeah

Said, how many times
Have I tried to turn this love around?
But every time you just let me down
Come on be a man about it, you'll survive
Sure that you can work it out alright
Tell me, yesterday did you know
I'd be the one to let you go?
And you know

I'm outta love, set me free (set me free, yeah)
And let me out this misery (go, let me out this misery, yeah)
Show me the way to get my life again
You can't handle me
Said, I'm outta love, can't you see (I'm outta love)
Baby, that you gotta set me free?
I'm outta

Let me get over you (over you)
The way you gotten over me too, yeah (yeah)
Seems like my time has come and now I'm movin' on
I'll be stronger

I'm outta love, set me free (set me free)
And let me out this misery (yeah)
Show me the way (show me the way) to get my life again (my life again)
You can't handle me (no no, no no)
Said, I'm outta love (I'm outta love), set me free (set me free)
And let me out this misery (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Show me the way to get my life again
You can't handle me
Said, I'm outta love, can't you see (can't you see)
Baby, that you gotta set me free?
I'm outta love, yeah
I'm outta love, set me free (no, no-no-no, yeah)
And let me out this misery (out this misery)
Show me the way to get my life again
And you can't handle me (no, no, no, no, yeah)
Said, I'm outta love, set me free (oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah)
Let me out this misery

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
