It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
It gotta be
What it gotta be
It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
I got some things on my mind
How can I make you understand the issue of procedure
The student
The teacher
Much more than just a feature
As a brother I keep ya
Cuz we mentally deep
We meditate
So I know my energy reach ya
And I see you in the mind man
You know how we travel
It's a travesty to me
How this shit unraveled
And you know Jus
Drop the gavel
My defence mechanism has risen
Even though it's like an elements missing
I got some deep questions
That I'd like to address
Get it off my chest
So we can move on
What's next
Put it to rest
And flex
But my heart felt sentiment is hesitant
Like the president so
It's alright
I understand that things happen
It ain't about the rapping man
It's bigger than rapping
Who knows
Could be it's a square mile issue
But for the record
King Jus would never diss you so
It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
It gotta be
What it gotta be
It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
I got some things on my mind
As for you
How'd we get here my fine young Philly
Oh really
I thought you said you wasn't feeling me
Said your girlfriends was stealing me
Pure drama
Little mama Osama
The domestic bomber
Crazy passion
Real life movie that's always action
Wheel barrel  into a backspin
Get the picture
But steady yelling and screaming ain't so appealing
Every morning make me wanna hit the mother f@$n ceiling
You gotta weigh the odds
Bra and the draws
Cuz it's probably the cause
Of the ongoing wars
I couldn't take it no more
I got a million to make
And you tryna help me make a mistake
You say I'll die with my dreams alone
Still gotta focus
Said I'm married to this microphone
I'm hopeless
And my times monopolized
And it's what you despise
I'm Sorry girl
I gotta reach for the sky
And that's why
It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
It gotta be
What it gotta be
It's Alright
You can judge me
You can cuss me
Must be
A better way to figure it out
I guess we'll give it some time
But for now
I got some things on my mind
Why do we do it how we do it man
We know better
We scientists at work
What's with the bad weather
On a quest
For the best ting
That fling
The great sex
And
Baby Phat sweats
Exposing her chest
What's with the superficial crippling official progress
What make a solid cat go on a soft flex
I guess
It's just the depths of this life thing
Can take you to places that's frightening
We got
Young guns with guns
Dying and bleeding
I'm crying and feeling
It's all for no reason
I'm a meditate for em
So the future can change
Cuz we caught up
Still
And it's strange
But
It's alright
Sooner or later something gotta give
Cuz we killing each other to live
And that ain't positive
So King Jus ain't wit it at all
It's a plan to set us up to fall
Won't drop the ball

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
