"Sealed With a Kiss" as written by Gary Geld and Peter Udell....
Though we've got to say goodbye for the summer
Darling, I promise you this
I'll send you all my love everyday in a letter

Sealed with a kiss
Yes it's gonna be a cold, lonely summer
But I'll fill the emptiness
I'll send you all my dreams everyday in a letter
Sealed with a kiss

I'll see you in the sunlight
I'll hear your voice everywhere
I'll run to tenderly hold you
But darling you won't be there
I don't want to say goodbye for the summer
Knowing the love we'll miss
Oh, let us make a pledge to meet in September

And seal it with a kiss
Yes, it's gonna be a cold, lonely summer
But I'll fill the emptiness
I'll send you all my dreams everyday in a letter
Sealed with a kiss [Repeat: x3]

My InterpretationTaken at face value, the song is about student sweethearts parting ways for the summer holiday, going to miss each other but safe in the knowledge that they'll see each other again when the summer is over.

But then I noticed a problem in that the song doesn't make sense in Jason's homeland! I then discovered an interpretation that makes sense. He has come to the northern hemisphere to study, and it'll be a "cold, lonely summer" because back home in Australia it is winter.
