Già le tre tu ti scopri un po'
Stai dormendo attaccata a me
E sorridi però non so
Ora dove sei

Tu vicina e così distante
Il cuore ti batte ma
Per chi batte non ne so niente
Chissà, chissà

Fantasie che l'insonnia da
Magari adesso un altro sta con te
Se potessi li ucciderei
Tutti i sogni tuoi

Piano piano vorrei svegliarti
Per rassicurarmi e per parlare un po'
E invece no
Forse ho paura di capire con chi stai

Tu sei, tu sai
Nel sogno da chi vai
Tu sei con me
Ma la mente dov'è
Seguo il ritmo del respiro
Movimenti leggeri della fronte tua
Quando sogni non sei mia

Già le sei ed è l'alba ormai
E il tuo cuscino è scivolato giù
Muovi i piedi cercando i miei
E ritorni tu

Quella che io potrei perdere un giorno o l'altro
Debbo ammetterlo sai non c'ho pensato mai
Convinto che se le altre storie finiscono
Quella nostra no

Tu sei, tu sai
Nel sogno da chi vai
Tu sei e tu sai
Stai svegliandoti ormai
Mi sorprendo i tuoi occhi
E quasi chiusi poi accesi, spalancati in me
Dici sorridendo, "Sognavo di te"

Fino su alla gola
Tiri le lenzuola
Con un calcio mi spingi via
Se ti tocco gridi
Poi ti giri e ridi
E alla fine ci cadi
In un sì

Tu sei, tu sai
Sorpresi insieme dal mattino
Tu sei, tu sai
Tu sei, tu sai
E adesso il sogno è già lontano, whoa, ooh ooh

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
