They know I'm the one
So I'm bringing that back
I don't even cap
When I hop on that track
Plain white Jordans
Kicks that I buy
The man there feeling my trap
Drip with Gucci
Louis Vuitton
Shoes, clothes
Designer kicks
Lambo, Rolls eternal drips
Girls, guns Mercedes B
Inversion I'm killing it
I'm the new big thing
They feeling it
Playing my songs in clubs
They chatting my name
In mugs
But I'm missing it
Been out of home
And I'm missing my mom
Unfocused
One bridge that I burned
Get me a chick like Cardi B
Brand new whip
Mercedes B
The things that I love
The things that I need
The ones that we've lost
The ones that we got
A tale that I tell
The guilt that felt
I wasn't around when
She needed my help
Gifted hands
One book That I read
Told mummy that I'll be a surgeon
Ben Carson
This things that he done
Reading those stories
That's where I belong
But somethings change
And I just wanna run
Been In a trap
And I know that I'm killing it
That's my dream
And I know that
I'm living it
Young black King
I'm a sweet boy in it
Touch my gees
Get spiffed
I'm still that guy
That you left on read
I'm still that guy
Das getting my bread
Do not disturb me
I'm getting my head
Do not disturb me
I'm getting my head
All night no sleep
I'm getting my bread
Man fell off when
Daddy was dead
One time I'll never forget
Shoot my shot to the girl
I loved one time
She'll never forget
Told em guys
That I had no beef
Manchis never regret
Drip drip drip Balenciaga
Men's dem going Gaga
Run dem down
With guns and tatas
Mandem be calling me Rasta
Call me crazy call me later
Niggas believe in banters
Pull up a gun on me
No cast am
Niggas be calling me bluffing
Living in rags
Then living in penury
No help no love
From the ones
I gave em my all
Now they left me in Mercury
This shit gets real
Every time I recall
Back the memories
Fuck em now they my enemies
The things that I love
The things that I need
The ones that we've lost
The ones that we got
A tale that I tell
The guilt that felt
I wasn't around
When she needed my help
Gifted hands
One book That I read
Told mummy that I'll be a surgeon
Ben Carson
This things that he done
Reading those stories
That's where I belong
Reading this stories
Is were you belong
Leaving the dream
Is how I belong
Had 2k but no way to run
Tripping and dripping
All over the sun
Man told me to
Pull up the gun
Blowing it out
Could shoot out a ton
Fuck that shit
It's no longer fun
I rather be sleeping
And cleaning the lawn
Real time niggas
Don't talk that long
I'm sorry I finished the fun
Drip too hard my chains out
Too long
It could ruin the fun
AP's done maybachs run
Two shotguns I'll be done
Rollies shine two feets shine
Twice and as tall
I'm looking fly
Looking fly
Shit Gon rip your mind
Its been a good couple
Months for us yeah
We been through
Up and downs shit man
Haha one time we got peeps
Tryna talk us down
Bruh
But you know how it is
What's real will surely prosper
That's what I believe in
No shit

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
