"Get Out the State" as written by and John Britt Daniel....
I've been waiting here for so long
And I'm on the curb with everyone
And I'm fit for it and I'm ready
Again yeah, I'm fit for working again
So you understand just what they mean
Kids will go to such extremes
Like here's the answer
What's the question
Again I kid you not should it take all night
Fill up the tank 'cause if it takes all day
We'll get out the state

General CommentSounds a lot like something by the band bush,

I think this song is generally about how:
"Kids will go to such extremes"

It starts out with the singer waiting on the curb, ready for work. It could have some reference to a prostitute or a Day-Laborer? Or it could just be him waiting for his friend to pick him up so that they can jump town.
