"If I Were You" as written by K. D. Lang and Ben Mink....
If I could only be the queen of popularity
Things would just come to me
So easily
What I would do
What I would do

If I could only be
Miss congeniality
No one could stand to be
Away from me
What I would do
What I could do

I could do anything
If I were you
I would have everything
If I were you

What I would do...
What I could do...

I could do anything
If I were you
I would have everything
If I were you

My InterpretationI hear this as a song of total obsession. The vid is a depiction of her attempts to brush herself up from her self-percieved roachy associations to something approaching the wonderful being whose wonderfulness she might achieve "if I were you".
