"If You're Happy and You Know It" as written by Vickie Winans and Y ....
If you're happy and you know it,
Clap your hands
(Clap hands twice)
If you're happy and you know it,
Clap your hands
(Clap hands twice)
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it
If you're happy and you know it,
Clap your hands.
(Clap hands twice)

If you're happy and you know it,
Stomp your feet
(Stomp feet twice)
If you're happy and you know it,
Stomp your feet
(Stomp feet twice)
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it
If you're happy and you know it,
Stomp your feet.
(Stomp feet twice)

If you're happy and you know it,
Do all three
(Clap hands twice, stomp feet twice,
then shout "Hurray!")
If you're happy and you know it,
Do all three
(Clap hands twice, stomp feet twice,
then shout "Hurray!")
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it
If you're happy and you know it,
Do all three.

General CommentGREAT song, and not just for children! How can anyone listen to this song and not want to clap along. First heard it while enrolled at a Prespyterian (sp?) or Baptist bible camp called Pioneer Girls. Wasn't a member of either faith so all the singing and swaying REALLY had an impact. There's something to be said for good and simple spirituals...
