My InterpretationA brilliant modern allegory. The song asserts that modern life is hard and unrelenting as stone; we're trapped in existence like the steel teeth of a bear trap. In the face of this, we're asked to join in the music and dance as the only reasonable response. Do the chisel - chip the facade, break the hold of unrelenting convention.
