We played those games
That no one ever wins, girl, yeah, yeah, yeah
Saying all kinds of words causing heartaches
Never knowing who's to blame

But I know it's worth what we've been through
Because I'm so glad to be a part of you

Because of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You always come through no matter what you do
Because of, ooh, ooh, ooh, you're my everything

Listen to me, girl
You're always there when I need someone to talk to
You've given me more love every time
We shared our dreams and now our dreams are our realities
The whole wide world is out there waiting for you and me

But I know it's worth what we've been through
Because I'm so glad to be in love with you

Because of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You always come through no matter what you do
Because of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You're my everything

Yeah, yeah, you know girl, sometimes when I'm alone
Often wonder about the good things in my life
[Incomprehensible] on thinking what a lucky man I am
To have someone, special as you are, yeah

Someone to care for me, feel for me
Hold me and touch me and love, love, love, love me

Some people go through life
Without ever finding that special someone for them
But I have
And it's you and it's you, you, you, you, you, yeah, yeah, yeah
Talking about you, I'll never ever, ever, ever, never stop loving you
Caring for you

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
