"Soley Soley" as written by and Jose Fernando Arbex Miro....
Just a little bit lonely
Just a little bit sad
I was feeling so empty
Until you came back
Until you came back
Until you came back

Oh
Soley
Soley
Soley
Soley
Soley
Soley
Oh
Soley
Soley
Soley
Ley
Soley
Soley
Soley
Ley
Soley
Soley

Just a little bit closer
Can you lay by my side
Can we get it together
Lazing in the sand
Lazing in the sand
Lazing in the sand

Oh
Soley
Soley

My InterpretationFirst of all, in the 1960s and 70s no-one knew what artists were singing as lyrics, it added to the mystery and ability to play on words. But I am quite certain this should be SOLE SOLE (Italian), and then "Soleil Soleil" (French) in the lyrics - meaning "SUN". The Egyptian Sun symbol was very important to artists back then, as it signified a return to spiritual principles, etc - and the song connects it perfectly: "I was sad, until (my) Sun came back" - also referring to Love Divine (soulmate).
