I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
I said have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
I'm gonna squeeze you baby just as tight as I can
Tonight you're gonna know I'm a mighty, mighty man
Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
I'm gonna meet you in the alley out behind the barn
Don't be afraid, I'll do you no harm
Bring along your tap dancin' shoes,
Tonight I'm gonna rock away all your blues
Have you heard the news
There's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
Oh yes, rockin' tonight
Let down your hair, let's have some fun
Not just a few, but everyone
Clap your hands and stomp your feet
Get your self up off your seat
Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
There's good rockin' right here tonight
I feel so good, and I feel so good oh yeah tonight
Good rockin' oh yeah, uh, feels so good tonight
Oh there's good rockin', there's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
And I feel so good, feel so good tonight
Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
I said have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
I'm gonna squeeze you baby just as tight as I can
Tonight you're gonna know I'm a mighty, mighty man
Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
I'm gonna meet you in the alley out behind the barn
Don't be afraid, I'll do you no harm
Bring along your tap dancin' shoes,
Tonight I'm gonna rock away all your blues
Have you heard the news
There's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
Oh yes, rockin' tonight
Let down your hair, let's have some fun
Not just a few, but everyone
Clap your hands and stomp your feet
Get your self up off your seat
Have you heard the news?
There's good rockin' tonight
There's good rockin' right here tonight
I feel so good, and I feel so good oh yeah tonight
Good rockin' oh yeah, uh, feels so good tonight
Oh there's good rockin', there's good rockin' tonight, oh yeah
And I feel so good, feel so good tonight
