Lucky Ones is Track 15 on Lana's Born to Die: Deluxe Edition album, as part of the three bonus songs available on that edition along with Without You and Lolita. The song was written...
Let's get out of this town, baby we're on fire
Everyone around here wants to be going down, down
If you stick with me, I can take you higher, and higher
It feels like all of our friends are lost
Nobody's found, found, found

I got so scared, I thought no one could save me
You came along scooped me up like a baby

Every now and then, the stars align
Boy and girl meet by the great design
Could it be that you and me are the lucky ones?

Everybody told me love was blind
Then I saw your face and you blew my mind
Finally, you and me are the lucky ones this time

Boy get into my car, got a bad desire
You know that we'll never leave if we don't get out now, now, now
You're a careless con and you're a crazy liar
But baby, nobody can compare to the way you get down, down, down

I tried so hard to act nice like a lady
You taught me that it was good to be crazy

Every now and then, the stars align
Boy and girl meet by the great design
Could it be that you and me are the lucky ones?

Everybody told me love was blind
Then I saw your face and you blew my mind
Finally, you and me are the lucky ones this time

Feels like, feels like, you know, it feels like
Falling in love for the first time
Feels like, you know, it feels like
Falling in love

Every now and then, the stars align
Boy and girl meet by the great design
Could it be that you and me are the lucky ones

Everybody told me love was blind
Then I saw your face and you blew my mind
Finally, you and me are the lucky ones this time

My InterpretationShe saying that they're are the lucky ones to find love that was so pure, not tainted. That while everyone else is crumbling around them, they were lucky enough to find each other. He completes her, so much that she doesnt always have to be lady-like around him, he told her that it was okay to be crazy, to be herself.

Everyone told her that when she falls in love that love would be blind, and she didnt really understand that till she fell for him.

Unlike the story of Romeo and Juliet, Lana and the man's their stars do align so they are no star-crossed lovers doomed to not be. They are soul-mates perfect for each other.

General CommentI hate to leave "one of those" comments, but I feel this song inexplicably describes my marriage to a tee; though we may quarrel terribly, not a day ever passes wherein I feel the absence of the deepest beholding to fate, for having me stumble through the dark of life, only to meet her that fateful night, at the birthday of a mutual "friend", that neither of us wanted to visit. All I know for certain is, that If I am to wander this hellscape, I would never substitute our inexorably joined mortal coil for any soul on either side of the aether.
