A Brief analysis of Skrillex ft. Sirah Bangarang.
Skrillex creates a parallel between mankind and the “lost boys” in the movie Hook that refuse to grow up and take on responsibility. If you listen carefully the voice changes from saying “lost boys” we rowdy to “Boss Boys”. Do to our “rowdy” life styles we are causing the world to decay. This is Skrillex saying that the reason for the slip of mankind is because of the influences the rich and powerful (boss boys) instills in ignorant and easily manipulated people. The dub step bit (right after the first verse or the chorus if you will) is of a dark mood, this is to make you associate whatever he talks about with negativity, as most music depicts a certain mood. Bangarang is the battle cry of the lost boys in the movie, and it means commotion and disturbance. I think we are meant the associate the term Bangarang with the evil (disturbance) that the rich and famous realise into the world to be absorbed by the ignorant. The bass gets turned up in the song (Bangarang! 00:26), the song will say, Bangarang and follow with the phrase “does it feel good?” Skipping to the end part… They say I lost my marbles, but I got these beats coming out the back of my toy car. Yo, im eating fun dip right now, not giving a fuck. This last line is pretty straight forward, it shows how the average person in North America has no free will or has embraced ignorance (lost marbles) because we have all been socialized by the rich and famous, by means of “popular music” and media to make us think you are successful if you have a cool car with a woofer in the trunk. Yo im eating sun dip right now not giving a fuck means that people don’t care about the evil they are enabling all over the world, as long as their having fun.

There are also many “word like” noises in allot of Skrillex songs and I believe that our subconscious derives meaning to them without realizing it, as was the intention. And it’s not saying random meaningless stuff like; big reindeer want to bite your dick off

The word "Bangarang" was originally used in the film "Hook" which based it's story line to Peter Pan. Skrillex has brilliantly made a connection between "Lost boys" from Peter Pan and every day "lost" boys. In the video he emphasizes how it's innate for guys muck around which sometimes, leads to crime, but in the end it's all just for fun and games. The intentions are clarified in the end as the boys pay the ice cream man back but through crime. This shows that it will always be in their nature for seeking thrill regardless of good/bad intentions.

    TL;DR - Boy's will be boys.

I do believe, or like to think this is a reference to peter pan - the movie Hook. He shouts out to the "lost boys" and in the movie they shout BANGARANG when somethings awesome, like peter flying for instants :) And i also like to think take me under has something to do with the mermaids lol not sure about that one. Hope I helped or made this song awesomer :P

i dont think skrillex even needs lyrics to get his point across. his sound alone is so full of everything he wants you to feel. hes all about just making everyone feel good. you all need to read the article he has in the rolling stone magazine.

Great song. Odd lyrics. What are the words he saying that sound like 'bud lite'? It is high pitched and and alternates before the words 'bangarang' and 'feelin...' Anyone?

    My Opinion

Really? This garbage isn't as creative as you all make it out to be. All that is needed to make dubstep trash is expensive software...

Cajun Girl

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
