Still living that fantasy life
Still wishing that you could be
Something that could fly away and start down a new road
Sometimes to move that mountain
You gotta build a bigger sea
They sink down in the water, start down a new road
It's not too hard to reach, it's not too hard to see
No it's not too hard to be someone, someone

If I just walk away
You'll never see my face
I'll just be dear Mr. No One, Dear Mr. No One
So when it starts to rain
I hope you'll see my face and not just Dear Mr. No One
Dear Mr. No One
Mr. No One, Mr. No One

There's too little life and it can't be wasted
Sometimes you just make believe
That you're already where you're going
When you don't really know
Where you came from, where you're at and
Get up off of my back
I think I need a second to breathe
There I come

It's not too hard to reach, it's not too hard to see
No it's not too hard to be someone, someone

If I just walk away
You'll never see my face
I'll just be dear Mr. No One, Dear Mr. No One
So when it starts to rain
I hope you'll see my face and not just Dear Mr. No One
Dear Mr. No One
Mr. No One (Mr. No One), Mr. No One (Mr. No One)

If even after all I try and then I fall
I'd still be happy to know you
But I'm never giving up, I'm stronger than I look
So when you see me just remember the one...
Remember...yeah

If I just walk away
You'll never see my face
I'll just be...
I'll just be no one

So when it starts to rain (when it starts to rain)
I hope you see my face (see my face) and not just
Dear Mr. No One (Mr. No One), Dear Mr. No One
Mr. No One (Mr. No One), Mr. No One (Mr. No One)
Mr. No One (I hope you see my face)
Mr. No One (I wanna find my face, find my face), Mr. No One
I won't be no one, no one

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
