Oh, here comes Lorna
And I know he's thinking
He don't care what I say

He's got arms and
He's got fingers
He can't hold a dead pig

It's all fine while you're cryin'
You want some cheese with your whine (2x)
Hey, yeah (doo, doo...) Way, yeah (doo, doo...) (2x)

(He's not the one) He's ball lightning (3x)

(Shut down, sucker says) He don't get that far
(Shut down, sucker says) Nothing helps at all
(Shut down, sucker say) Answer his call
Maybe one day make him sorry.

It's all fine while you're cryin'
You want some cheese with your whine? (2x)
Hey, yeah (doo, doo...) Way, yeah (doo, doo...) (2x)

(Oh! Yeah!)

(He's not the one) He's ball lightning (5x)

Shut down, sucker says
Sucker's gotta pay me

It's all fine while you're cryin'
Want some cheese with your whine? (4x)
Hey, yeah (doo, doo...) Way, yeah (doo, doo...) (4x)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
