"The Dilemma" as written by Chris Miller, Max Helyer, Josh Franceschi, Matt Barnes and Dan Flint....
Let me tell you a story bout' a boy and a girl,
A very different version than you've ever heard.
Okay so I'm lying but all I'm trying to say,
This isn't about the one that got away.

Watch it from your ivory tower,
Paint the sky gray, like a coward.
How long've you got?
I can go on for hours.
A sweet little tale that ended sour,
My words will ring in your ears.

Take my advice and leave right now.
You're gonna find a way to sell yourself,
To someone who cares,
To someone desperate.

First you came along my friends were dubious,
She cared for the stage, not who she was with.
I brushed it off and hit the road,
Only to hear she's in the others clothes

The end of summer in 2009,
I wasn't really looking but what did I find?
A golden girl with golden hair,
When I was with her everybody stared.
And I couldn't believe my luck had changed.
And I asked so nice if she wouldn't stay

Take my advice and leave right now.
You're gonna find a way to sell yourself,
To someone who cares,
To someone desperate.

If I was just to choose,
I wouldn't choose you,
I've got better things to do with my time
I will bear in mind,
What was in this light

(Na na na na na na na na na na)

She said who do you, she said who do you,
She said who do you, she said who, do you!
Who, do you? Who, do you?
I said who do you, I said who do you.

Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think, you, are!

General CommentI'm pretty sure this is about a groupie who broke his heart

Let me tell you a story bout' a boy and a girl,
A very different version than you've ever heard.

(Maybe it's because groupies and rockstars don't get along so well. maybe he got surprised and decided to give it a shot. that's not a usual story)

Okay so I'm lying but all I'm trying to say,
This isn't about the one that got away.
(she didn't get away, she kind of pushed him away)

Watch it from your ivory tower,
Paint the sky gray, like a coward.
(she was planning everything but at the end she didn't admit it)

    How long've you got?
I can go on for hours.
(he can go on and on telling about all the bullshit she has done)

A sweet little tale that ended sour,
My words will ring in your ears.
(it was sweet and amazing at the beggining but it became awful at the end. And when she listens to this song she will recognize everything

Take my advice and leave right now.
(maybe he's telling that to his friends, to never get involved with groupies)

You're gonna find a way to sell yourself,
(sell yourself = become a streetwalker)
    To someone who cares,
    To someone desperate.

First you came along my friends were dubious
(his friends taught she was a groupie from the start)

She cared for the stage, not who she was with.
(she literally cared for his fame, not for him)

I brushed it off and hit the road,
Only to hear she's in the others clothes
(he went on tour but then he heard she cheated on him)

The end of summer in 2009,
I wasn't really looking but what did I find?
A golden girl with golden hair,
When I was with her everybody stared.
(she was very beautiful, but his friends had their doubts)

And I couldn't believe my luck had changed.
And I asked so nice if she wouldn't stay
(he really taught she was the one)

Take my advice and leave right now.
You're gonna find a way to sell yourself,
    To someone who cares,
    To someone desperate.

If I was just to choose,
    I wouldn't choose you,
I've got better things to do with my time
    I will bear in mind,
    What was in this light
(now he's just thinking and reflecting on what she did)

(Na na na na na na na na na na)

She said who do you, she said who do you,
She said who do you, she said who, do you!
Who, do you? Who, do you?
I said who do you, I said who do you.
( i think this part is about what he thinks her reaction will be)

Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think you are,
Who do you, who do you, think, you, are!

My InterpretationI feel like he is talking to a friend and kind of warning him about this girl who cheated on him. the "how long you got?" "I can go on for hours" part to me is the friend not believing him but then the guy jumps straight to the story.
