"Rows of Houses" as written by and Gordon Grdina John Walsh....
I became a father
Tin can shooter
Makes us ready
He lies in waiting
And I hope we find it
Before they find it

Oh, oh , oh
So I tell stories
Make my friends tick
They like me for it

So bring on the papers
Cause we're ready for it
What makes us ready

The site of the (brower?)
The taste of , something
The thought of houses
Rows of houses

The site of (brower?)
The taste of something the thought of houses
Rows of houses
Rows of houses

Song MeaningI saw him play this a few times live and he said it was based on the movie Stand By Me, just like drice said. If you watch the music video its pretty obvious that its themes are the nostalgia for something small town, something better while the world is changing and homogenizing (especially around the characters from Stand By Me). He said before he played it live at the Orpheum that Its about the ennui and inescapabilty of the drudge and grind of everyday suburban life.
