Don't wait until the party
Don't wait until the sun
Passes over Gold Mountain
I wish we were still on the run

Hold on, for God's sake
But not that tight to your doubt
Cos they have found
That when life is pouring out
You are the only one, the only one that counts

No one really is a mystery
We all get found out
Don't be scared to say you miss me
Come on let it out

Hold on, for God's sake
But not that tight to your doubt
Cos they have found
That when life is pouring out
You are the only one, the only one that counts

I waited till the party
I never showed up
You want everything, want everybody
But you can have too much
Too much

Hold on, for God's sake
But not that tight to your doubt
Cos they have found
That when life is pouring out
You are the only one, the only one that counts

You are the only one, the only one that counts
You are the only one, the only one that counts

You are the only one, the only one that counts

General CommentThey said during a live performance on BBC 5 live that everyone misinterprets "you are the only one who counts" as singing about someone they love, when really they are being cynical and saying that themselves are the only one who counts
