Prisoner awake but cant escape
These walls and world that you misshape
Chosen time, I wonder why
You make me feel like I do

I'll follow you to the ground, cant live a night without you
I'd never let you down, I'd stay with you forever

Justice will rise above the sun
Teach us to lie for what you've done
Disarm him
Control them
And take the universe
swallow like a pill

I'll follow you to the ground, cant live a night without you
I'd never let you down, I'd stay with you forever

Don't run so far
You can't see tomorrow
Take my future
Away from me
Away from me

I'll follow you to the ground, cant live a night without you
I'd never let you down, I'd stay with you forever

the way I see this song.. it's about someone you love deeply. Or someone you trust.

"I'll follow you to the ground, cant live a night without you I'd never let you down, I'd stay with you forever"

That ^ to me means this person (or even thing, for that matter) means so much that you would die with them. You can't live without that person. They're the one that's your rock, so to speak. You would never let them down.

But the way the verses are.. It almost seems as if this person is an enemy ina way.

"Prisoner awake but cant escape These walls and world that you misshape"

    and

"Justice will rise above the sun Teach us to lie for what you've done"

Maybe to say this person may not be the best for me, but the way I feel when I'm with them makes me willing to do anything for them -> "Chosen time, I wonder why, You make me feel like I do"

All that aside, I love the line, "Don't run so far that you can't see tomorrow" (possible lyric correction btw, adding "that" before the next part). This is actually a really nice line :p A kind of.. artistic way to say "don't get ahead of yourself". I really like that.

This band is awesome. I dont get why they're not that popular :/

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
