"Look Around" as written by and Gregory Daniel Smith....
Stiff club, it's my nature,
Custom love is the nomenclature
Turn down mass confusion
Hit the road 'cause we just keep cruisin'
Double my fun, double my vision
Long hard look at my last decision
Hustle here, hustle there
Hustle me bitch and you best beware

It's emotional and I told you so
But you had to know so I told you
Soft walk to horizon
One big crash that no one dies in
This for the folks in Fayetteville
It'll come true if you say it will

Look around, look around, look around
All around, all around, all around
Look around, look around, look around
All around, all around, all around

It's emotional and I told you so
But you had to know so I told you
Please don't look right through me
Hurts my heart when you do that to me
Street life out my window
City-made breeze gonna stroke my skin though
Dropped a lot of words on an old brick wall,
Rob a lot of banks, got a pedigree scrawl
Put my peg into your square
Run around like we just don't care

Look around, look around, look around
All around, all around, all around
Look around, look around, look around
All around, oh yeah

Move it ah gotta get ya, wanna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, gonna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, wanna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, gonna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, wanna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, gonna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, wanna getcha
Move it ah gotta get ya, gonna getcha

Look around, look around, look around
All around, all around, all around
Look around, look around, look around
All around, oh yeah

When I'm feeling small
And I'm hitting a wall
Wanna feel it all around

When I'm feeling small
And I'm hitting a wall
Wanna feel it all around

Lyric CorrectionIt's Fayetteville not pay-it-ville, that's what it has in the cd booklet.

    Lyric CorrectionFrom the lyric booklet:

"This is for the folks in Fayetteville"

    "Street life
    Out my window
    City made breeze
    Gonna stroke my skindow"

And Josh at the end is saying
"When I'm feeling small and I'm hitting a wall
    Wanna feel it all around"

General CommentI'm pretty sure its Fayetteville, NC. Where Fort Bragg, the largest Army base in the US, is located.
So he's pretty much saying that, "...this is for the soldiers".

General CommentIf you watch the video he's with his wife and kids, and has some prisoners trousers. I can't see how it's about prostitutes.

General CommentThe song is talking about Fayetteville Arkansas. I know this because my grandmother was this beautiful young stripper in Fayetteville at the time. She was the first high-payed stripper at "Bottoms-Up." ..Before RHCP became famous..They would play in clubs in Fayetteville. They would party and adore my grandmother all the time.

My InterpretationI feel like this song is about sex. I mean it has a few simple examples through the lyrics but I'm not entirely sure. Lines like "Stiff club that's my nature" I get the feeling he's talking about his dick and also "put my peg into your square". I just get this sexual vibe from this song for some odd reason. I don't know if the whole song is about sex but I feel like those lines are.
