They don't know
About the world that we live in.
They don't know
Nothing much about anything
And who are we
To be the ones to judge upon them?
The sky clouds
And the light is on our side.

They wanna see what we have seen,
They wanna be where we have been,
They wanna stand where we once stood
'cause we have seen everything.

Your feeble mind is failing,
Your sense of fame is swaying
And when I look straight at you
There's nothing left inside.
Your useless words mean nothing,
Your weakened body crumbling
And when I look straight at you
There's nothing left inside,
Nothing left inside.

They don't know
Of the words and the glances that we exchanged.
They don't know
About the stab in the back that drove us insane.
And who is blind
To the fake saviour that has claimed the title?
Yeah, they don't know
That we are the ones who will rise above them/

They wanna see what we have seen,
They wanna be where we have been,
They wanna stand where we once stood
cause we have seen everything.

They wanna see what we have seen,
They wanna be where we have been,
They wanna stand where we once stood
cause we have seen everything.
They wanna see what we have seen,
They wanna be where we have been,
They wanna stand where we once stood
cause we have seen everything.

General Commentthis perfectly describes the new punk and metal bands. they want to know what the old crowd knew. they want to see what the old crowd saw. they want to be just like the old crowd. but they will never be. it's funny that this song is performed by a new band but it makes a very good point
